The album mix is now done and it’s no surprise that Eric “Roscoe” Ambel did a mighty fine job. We are definitely excited! Yeehaw!! The songs are rockin’ and rollin’ even more than before! I sure wish you could hear it already but…sorry.

Next on the list is mastering and it will be done by Roscoe’s team member Mario Viele at Cowboy Technical Services in Brooklyn, NY.

Stay tuned for more information eli pysykää kanavalla!

Ai niin, hyvää uutta vuotta!! Happy New Year 2017!!

We are extremely happy and excited to announce that Devil Dog Road’s upcoming second album will be mixed by Eric “Roscoe” Ambel.

Eric Ambel has been working with bands in the studio producing records since the mid ’80’s. He is known for his work with guitar bands and singer songwriters. He’s been able to use his experience as a band leader (Roscoe’s Gang), band member (Del-Lords, Yayhoos), sideman (Steve Earle & the Dukes, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts), session player (Keri Noble, Casey Neil, Syd Straw, Mojo Nixon, Run DMC/Everlast) songwriter and occasional engineer to the production process. Ambel is known for capturing moving performances that reflect the strength of the artists he’s worked with.

Eric Ambel’s and longtime friend and collaborator Tim Hatfield’s Cowboy Technical Services Recording Rig studio’s clients include the Bottle Rockets, Marshall Crenshaw, Marah, Steve Earle & The Dukes, Regina Spektor, Robert Randolph, Los Lobos and the Harlem Parlour Music Club.”

Next it is time to mix. Ai miks, no siks.

Recordings are done. 13 tracks ready for some mixing.

Guitars and lead vocals were done about a week ago. Some more backing vocals and some percussion and we are done with the recording . Then the mixing begins. Ou jee. Rokkilevyä pukkaa!

Two days of recording and all drum tracks and most of the bass are done. Things are looking good.

Stay tuned for more updates. #keeprocknrollalive
