Devil Dog Road: Shut Up And Spin It (album, 2026, © Devil Dog Road). “SHUT UP AND SPIN IT” was released on March 13th 2026. There are 12 rocking tunes on the album which is available on CD and vinyl LP as well as on all major streaming platforms. There are 11 originals and one “bonus cover”, which is only on CD and vinyl AND Bandcamp download.
Devil Dog Road’s fifth album carries the same theme as before: Keep Rock’n’Roll Alive! There is no AI or any other fancy digital stuff. Just plain simple rock’n’roll driven hard. The band is tighter than ever after the drummer change! Legendary Havana Black guitarist Markku “Crazy” Heiskanen plays one helluva solo on No Plan and the bonus track is familiar to him also! Shut Up And Spin It is produced and published by Devil Dog Road. The album was mixed and mastered by Petri Majuri who has worked with Havana Black, Hanoi Rocks, Michael Monroe etc. Album is available as CD and LP and digital download. Devil Dog Road: Keep Rock’n’Roll Alive (album, 2021, © Devil Dog Road). Band’s fourth album “KEEP ROCK’N’ROLL ALIVE” was released on Friday January 29th 2021. There are 11 original tunes on the album. Previous album’s “stockholm-new yorkish” vibes were this time extended further and album sounds slightly more Scandinavian than the two previous Devil Dog Road albums. Songs are still though from all corners of the rock genre and sometimes shake the boundaries. Maybe the boundaries are this time a little closer to each other.
Album was recorded at the Yellow Garage in Helsinki, Finland in June 2nd – August 8th 2020. Two bonus tracks were also recorded one being “Rock and Roll” by Lou Reed. Mixing and mastering was done this time by a Swede, Ola Ersfjord. Madrid based Ersfjord has worked with bands like Imperial State Electric, Lucifer, Tribulation, Grande Royale, Night Viper, etc. as well as The “mighty” Hellacopters. Devil Dog Road: Drive And Out (album, 2018, © Devil Dog Road). Devil Dog Road released band’s third album “DRIVE AND OUT” on Friday November 2nd 2018. There are 14 original tunes on the album, which changes the band’s focus more towards classic hard rock. Emphasis is now more on catchy choruses and driving rhythm. Some vibes from 70’s and classic Aussie rock as well as other “stockholm-new yorkish” influences.
Album was recorded at the Yellow Garage in Helsinki, Finland in April 7th – July 2nd 2018 and it was mixed by Eric “Roscoe” Ambel and mastered by Mario Viele in Brooklyn, NY, USA. Devil Dog Road: Next Exit (album, 2017, © Devil Dog Road). The band’s second and the trio format’s first album was released March 17th 2017. The self-produced and self-published album contains 13 original tunes – all written by Hynde and arranged by Devil Dog Road. The album had the updated visual image and although the songs still had rootsy origins the more rocking tracks had a bigger role. Next Exit was the first album mixed by Eric “Roscoe” Ambel (The Bottle Rockets, Del-Lords, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts…) and mastered by Mario Viele in Brooklyn, New York. Devil Dog Road: Devil Dog Road (album, 2014, © RetroU Art & Devil Dog Road). The self-titled debut album was released October 10th 2014. The self-produced album contains 13 tunes – 10 originals and three cover songs orginally performed by The Bottle Rockets, Tom Petty and Hank III. Album was recorder two years prior to the release by the original quartet. Release was delayed for reasons we can’t remember any more. :D Album shows a different band compared to the present days but this album and couple of the tracks have remained popular on streaming platforms.
