Next Exit was recorded in the mystical Yellow Garage in Helsinki, Finland in October-November 2016. Album was mixed by Eric “Roscoe” Ambel (Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Del-Lords, The Yayhoos, etc.) and mastered by Mario Viele at Cowboy Technical Services in Brooklyn, New York, USA in January 2017.
Album includes 13 original songs all written by Hynde and arranged by Devil Dog Road and is produced and published by the band itself. It is all about rock’n’roll from all corners within the genre with no gimmicks – rock with rootsy origins yet crossing boundaries.

Next Exit-albumi äänitettiin loka-marraskuussa 2016 Yellow Garagessa Helsingissä. Levyn miksasi Eric “Roscoe” Ambel (mm. Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Del-Lords, The Yayhoos) ja masteroi Mario Viele, Cowboy Technical Servicesstudiolla New Yorkin Brooklynissa tammikuussa 2017.
Levy sisältää 13 omaa biisiä, jotka ovat Hynden käsialaa ja bändin yhdessä sovittamat. Devil Dog Road on itse tuottanut ja julkaissut tämän uudistetun trio-kokoonpanon ensimmäisen lätyn. Kyseessä on maanläheinen rokkilevy, jossa kuljetaan genrerajojen sisällä laidasta laitaan ja vähän laitoja rikkoen.
