Ok, things have been quiet with the band so it is time for a change. So from this day on Devil Dog Road will be a trio. No drama, it was just time to make some changes to keep the wheels rolling and I have been wanting to try out a trio format a long time and the time is now.
This means that our wizard master of the magical slide guitar, Matti, will keep on sliding with his other band Lena & the Slide Brothers. They are releasing a new album April 8th 2016 and I really think you should check it out.
Also a new four stringer will be joining the band. Arto “Pieni” Iso-Antila is the new bassist and replaces Jomi. Pieni has played in so many bands that I won’t even try to make a list here. We warmly welcome Pieni and thank Jomi for his time with Devil Dog Road. Hip hurray!!
We have started rehearsing the old songs as a trio and soon will start working on some new tunes. As mentioned before, the goal this year is to double the number of gigs :) and start to work on the new album.
